Rebecca Antsis is a multi-dimensional hospitality veteran, event producer, and wellness practitioner with over twenty years of experience inhabiting practically every role within Food & Beverage operations. In 2006, her journey with herbs and food as medicine began when she apprenticed with an Ayurvedic practitioner, eventually becoming certified in Vini yoga. In 2008, Rebecca's relationship with herbalism was initiated whilst living on local farms in Southwestern France and Catalonia, Spain. There she was able to begin wildcrafting and explore native plant species such as mountain thyme, wild strawberries, and licorice root. In 2016, she was able to fuse these two passions through becoming a part of the NOHM Travelling Elixir Bar and Ambrosia Elixirs, working with a variety of materia medicas. Elixirology Inc. was formed as a culmination of her life's work in 2018 with the intention to advocate for herbalism in social spheres, respectfully promote traditional herbal remedies in the beverage space, and empower the use of botanicals in the wellness cuisine and hospitality realms. With an emphasis always on integrating Western science with herbalism as sacred art form and the people's medicine.
